”He who controls others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still” ~Tao Te Ching
Emotions rule our lives. We are often driven and controlled by emotions or intense feelings. Many people are kept in emotional bondage by allowing painful emotions to govern and control their response to everyday life events.
Events, incidents and accidents, whether perceived or real, are often misinterpreted through distorted thinking and given dis-empowering meaning. Consequently many neutral events in their lives give rise to painful emotions of irritation, frustration and anger.
However those who have grown to respond to events and incidents, rather then react to them can experience emotions without attachment or ownership. They have gained self-mastery over their emotions and can expect to live balanced lives.
These emotionally balanced people are not special or unique. Emotional balance is a learned skill. Through learning we recognise that events and incidents are neutral. They do not create emotions, only our interpretations and distorted meanings do. They also recognise patterns of thought and feelings that give rise to negative emotions and deal with them before they take root and become ingrained. These ingrained patterns become habits.
To manage emotions we must change the meaning and interpretations we give to neutral events. This would change the associated feelings ascribed to events and transform our behavioural responses. Over time the learned emotional skills and conscious effect pay dividends in emotional balance and harmony.
Liberty International conducts emotional transformation seminars to help you learn the skills to manage your emotions and live a balanced, harmonious life. You deserve to live your dream without the baggage of negative emotions or painful experience of the past.
